Outside the town of Harper's Hill, deep in secluded woods, Arthur and John come across an old, decrepit mansion full of history.
Description[]
The Stanczyk Mansion lies at the end of a long driveway, in a forest clearing outside the town of Harper's Hill. It is three stories tall including an attic and basement. By the time Arthur and John arrive, it is already worn with age, with several items of furniture heaped in a burn pile out on the lawn. In its own time, it was lavish, with a chandelier in the front foyer, dark, purple wallpaper, and sconces on every wall. To the left of the foyer is an office with a fireplace and sofa.
The second floor consists mostly of bedrooms. In one bedroom overlooking the porch that was at one point boarded up, they discover the dead body of a woman, presumably Mrs. Stanczyk. Another dead body, possibly Mr. Stanczyk, rests in the attic. They also come across evidence that two children once lived in the house, Anna and Erik.
In the basement stands a stone pillar bearing a wheel, which is connected to a typewriter on a nearby desk. The typewriter is constructed from a dead crow.
The mansion is the domain of The Wraith up until Arthur chooses to set her free.
